The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Perkowski got free with Marcin Marchlewicz in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Walery Hludzenski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Borys Pieknik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulryk Czempa in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Ulryk Czempa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Pieknik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcin Marchlewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Ludwiczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Atlético Madryt booed when Dominke SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radoslaw Sidorowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Dominke SA's Borys Pieknik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulryk Czempa in the 54th minute of play.
