The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Ryszard Bejrut cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Janusz Petka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ryszard Bejrut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janusz Petka having to interfere. Igor Chowaniec struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Emil Gniewek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Team Leader Bydgoszcz. Emil Gniewek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Chowaniec in the 16th minute. Janusz Petka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wawrzyniec Konieczny, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Ryszard Bejrut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 25 played minutes Team Leader Bydgoszcz got a freekick which was hit by Maciej Budrewicz. Wawrzyniec Konieczny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Wawrzyniec Konieczny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wawrzyniec Konieczny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janusz Petka having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wawrzyniec Konieczny was the one to do the kick off. LKS Bobrek's Ryszard Bejrut got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, LKS Bobrek's Artur Trela got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Emil Gniewek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Chowaniec, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Wawrzyniec Konieczny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 73 minutes, Igor Chowaniec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Team Leader Bydgoszcz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Chowaniec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ryszard Bejrut kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Emil Gniewek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Zukowski in the 79th minute of play. Emil Gniewek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Chowaniec in the 83rd minute of the match. Igor Chowaniec's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emil Gniewek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Ryszard Bejrut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LKS Bobrek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryszard Bejrut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Feliks Gardocki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LKS Bobrek's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
