The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Harwaty booed when Kolonja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witalis Bucyki didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute Maciej Pasterski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radowit Serwacki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radowit Serwacki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zdzislaw Buda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kolonja's Dariusz Ferfecki in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Harwaty's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Kalak in the 20th minute of play forced Kolonja's goalkeeper Radowit Serwacki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafal Pierz struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Radowit Serwacki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harwaty. Lucjan Boruta might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marian Fink. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucjan Boruta ran back to his position shaking his head. Radowit Serwacki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafal Pierz, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Dariusz Ferfecki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marian Fink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Ferfecki in the 35th minute of play. Marian Fink was a little too slow when Dariusz Ferfecki got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 1-0. Zdzislaw Buda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucjan Boruta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Marian Fink made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zdzislaw Buda to make the kick off. Zdzislaw Oliszewski's late challenge caught a Kolonja's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zdzislaw Oliszewski helped the player get up and apologised. Zdzislaw Oliszewski kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Rafal Pierz might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Radowit Serwacki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafal Pierz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 68th match minute, Harwaty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbyszko Skrzypek to maneuver through the defense. When Kolonja's Dariusz Ferfecki in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Harwaty's goalie prevented a goal. Zbyszko Skrzypek got his second yellow card in the match during the 94th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The Kolonja fans' excitement grew in the 97th match minute when Kolonja's Lucjan Boruta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kolonja had played much better football throughout.
