Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jaroslaw Tomporowski kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Lothar Matthäus managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Selea's supporters rose to their feet, but Lothar Matthäus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jedrzej Merski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ludomil Januszewski during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd minute of the match Tytus Zacharzewski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jedrzej Merski skillfully saved the ball. Jedrzej Merski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliks Glembin in the 25th minute. After 27 played minutes VW GOLF TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Bartosz Nieuzyla. 28 minutes into the match, VW GOLF TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Lothar Matthäus came free, but Jedrzej Merski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliks Glembin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jedrzej Merski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jedrzej Merski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lothar Matthäus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Czeslaw Nieuzyla hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Selea's Feliks Glembin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jedrzej Merski. That made the score 1-0 after 33 minutes of play. If Feliks Glembin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jedrzej Merski made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Feliks Glembin sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lothar Matthäus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Feliks Glembin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zachariasz Dziuma hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Bartosz Nieuzyla shot from long distance in the 60th minute, but Alfred Zbytniewski was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Jaroslaw Tomporowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jedrzej Merski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lothar Matthäus in the 69th minute of play. Feliks Glembin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jaroslaw Tomporowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Selea's Alfred Zbytniewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save FC Selea from getting a goal against them. FC Selea's Lothar Matthäus got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Feliks Glembin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, FC Selea's Alfred Zbytniewski got control of the ball when Teofil Karpinski tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lothar Matthäus in the 91st minute of play forced VW GOLF TEAM's goalkeeper Jedrzej Merski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind VW GOLF TEAM's goalkeeper Jedrzej Merski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FC Selea's zone, Jaroslaw Tomporowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfred Zbytniewski came out of the goal and Jaroslaw Tomporowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Selea fans cheered their team off the field, for while VW GOLF TEAM had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
