Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Robert Gierlach got the match started through his kick off. Jacek Japola had great luck who in the 4thth minute grab hold of the ball when Sylwester Skwira from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Tomasz Bubczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jacek Japola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacek Japola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Slawomir Okopny in the 12th minute. Slawomir Okopny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Jacek Japola made a huge save. Jelitki's Sylwester Skwira got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leszek Winograd kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Jelitki's zone, Robert Gierlach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edward Kaczor came out of the goal and Robert Gierlach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacek Japola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sylwester Skwira in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind BASEMENT FC's goalkeeper Jacek Japola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38th minute of the match Jelitki got a corner. BASEMENT FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iwo Pysz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Jelitki's Iwo Pysz to fire away a dangerous shot which Jacek Japola despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Slawomir Okopny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jacek Japola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Slawomir Okopny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Jelitki's Sylwester Skwira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacek Japola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Robert Gierlach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sylwester Skwira to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Jelitki's goalkeeper Edward Kaczor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kacper Joks. After a rather tough play, Jelitki's Sylwester Skwira got a free kick in the 58th minute. 0-1 became the score in the 60th minute when Kacper Joks elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Slawomir Okopny in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacek Japola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edward Kaczor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Gierlach in the 75th minute of play. Kacper Joks struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Edward Kaczor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BASEMENT FC. In the 91st minute, Sylwester Skwira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacek Japola was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Slawomir Okopny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacek Japola having to interfere. Jelitki were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
