Marian Zima blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Janusz Wydrych having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Wyszatyce's Teobald Rzentkowski got a free kick in the 40th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Wyszatyce's zone, Marian Zima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Janusz Wydrych came out of the goal and Marian Zima tried to chip the ball over his head. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Wyszatyce's supporters rose to their feet, but Olaf Szpakowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucjan Tyszka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Janusz Wydrych made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnaba Gabis in the 92nd minute of play. Marian Zima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janusz Wydrych having to interfere. Barnaba Gabis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Janusz Wydrych tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Nowostawskie failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
