Saabor SSA's Witomir Murdza got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Wladyslaw Treppa put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Zdzislaw Krzynowek. KS Unia Brzeszcze's Zdzislaw Krzynowek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witomir Murdza in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute Zula Plucinik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janusz Tychy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wladyslaw Treppa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Zdzislaw Krzynowek made a huge save. A collision led to KS Unia Brzeszcze getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Tolek Bilicki hit a great ball. When Wladyslaw Treppa came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Saabor SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wladyslaw Treppa couldn't finish the play. Zdzislaw Krzynowek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witomir Murdza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witomir Murdza in the 36th minute of play forced KS Unia Brzeszcze's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Krzynowek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KS Unia Brzeszcze's Zdzislaw Krzynowek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witomir Murdza in the 38th minute of play. Zdzislaw Krzynowek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witomir Murdza, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. With a little luck, KS Unia Brzeszcze's Zdzislaw Krzynowek got control of the ball when Wladyslaw Treppa tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zula Plucinik made a kick off. Zdzislaw Krzynowek came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Saabor SSA's Wladyslaw Treppa. But to his dismay, Wladyslaw Treppa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Wladyslaw Treppa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zdzislaw Krzynowek having to interfere. When Saabor SSA's Witomir Murdza in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KS Unia Brzeszcze's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to KS Unia Brzeszcze getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Wladyslaw Tyszka hit a great ball. Saabor SSA's Milosz Limanowski couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 61st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for KS Unia Brzeszcze. Zdzislaw Krzynowek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Witomir Murdza's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Saabor SSA's Iwo Dawiec got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Tymoteusz Dabrowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aureliusz Rakowski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Janusz Tychy. Saabor SSA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Teofil Degutis fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saabor SSA's protests and gave Teofil Degutis a yellow card for diving instead. Teofil Degutis kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, Milosz Limanowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saabor SSA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KS Unia Brzeszcze the free kick. The supporters of KS Unia Brzeszcze booed when Saabor SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milosz Limanowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saabor SSA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
