PLON Garbatka's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 9th minute, Aleksander Kaczanka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafal Kuszczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachary Zalipski in the 11th minute of play. Dariusz Maziarski struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Rafal Kuszczak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wagi. Wagi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Kazimierz Ruszkowski scored to the left of an out of position Stefan Chrobak, making the score, 1-0. 23 minutes into the match, Miromir Konopka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafal Kuszczak. PLON Garbatka's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miromir Konopka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Rafal Kuszczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dariusz Maziarski, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Bogumil Jandrycas short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Stefan Chrobak to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in PLON Garbatka's zone, Zachary Zalipski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafal Kuszczak came out of the goal and Zachary Zalipski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The wind increased when Zachary Zalipski made the kick off in the second half. Stefan Chrobak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bogumil Jandryca went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Zachary Zalipski managed to get in a good position for a shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogumil Jandryca in the 70th minute of play forced Wagi's goalkeeper Stefan Chrobak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmund Wejta walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Bogumil Jandryca might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stefan Chrobak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bogumil Jandryca ran back to his position shaking his head. Bogumil Jandryca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Stefan Chrobak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dariusz Maziarski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Rafal Kuszczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 98th match minute, PLON Garbatka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Rasialdo to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, PLON Garbatka could leave the field as winners, despite Wagi having more of the ball for most of the match.
