Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gustaw Hendzel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 12 minutes, Bogumil Wawrukiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Gdynia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bogumil Wawrukiewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute Stefan Jaktorowo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Antoszewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 minutes, Robert Czermak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AKS Niwka Sosnowiec and the AFC Gdynia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute, Robert Czermak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bogumil Wawrukiewicz scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jerzy Antoszewski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hieronim Cymbal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milosz Glozor having to interfere. Hieronim Cymbal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Milosz Glozor made a huge save. After 28 played minutes AFC Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Jacek Zjawin. 29 minutes into the match, AFC Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Zygmunt Niemoj came free, but Milosz Glozor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hieronim Cymbal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Milosz Glozor skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Hieronim Cymbal took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Milosz Glozor. Milosz Glozor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Stefan Jaktorowo made the kick off in the second half. Hieronim Cymbal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Milosz Glozor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waldemar Wnukowski hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Gustaw Hendzel managed to get in a good position for a shot. AKS Niwka Sosnowiec's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaw Hendzel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Milosz Glozor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robert Czermak hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. AFC Gdynia's Stefan Jaktorowo got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bogumil Wawrukiewicz struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Jerzy Antoszewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Gdynia. If Stefan Jaktorowo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bogumil Wawrukiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustaw Hendzel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Milosz Glozor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, AFC Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaw Hendzel came free, but Milosz Glozor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Gustaw Hendzel made a precise shot to the right of Milosz Glozor. AFC Gdynia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 87 minutes into the match, AKS Niwka Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Jerzy Antoszewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bogumil Wawrukiewicz. Milosz Glozor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hieronim Cymbal in the 97th minute of play. AFC Gdynia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
