Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Feliks Czempa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Bergensin SSA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Giejda in the 5th minute. Herbert Cymbal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Tolek Dyczkowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miroslaw Waselenczuk was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Herbert Cymbal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszek Moczkiewicz having to interfere. The supporters of Ruch Radzionków booed when Bergensin SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zenon Ziomkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliks Czempa in the 29th minute of play forced Bergensin SSA's goalkeeper Miroslaw Waselenczuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tolek Dyczkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Robert Kosowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Witomir Cetnar's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Miroslaw Waselenczuk on his right side and into the goal. 35 minutes into the game it was 0-1. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bergensin SSA's goalkeeper Miroslaw Waselenczuk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Leonard Zalipski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tolek Dyczkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kajetan Cuber charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kajetan Cuber the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Bergensin SSA got a freekick which was hit by Kajetan Cuber. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The long shot by Witomir Cetnar in the 53rd minute really tested Miroslaw Waselenczuk's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 63rd minute, Tolek Dyczkowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tolek Dyczkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 73 minutes of play, Bergensin SSA's Zenon Ziomkowski made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zbyszek Moczkiewicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 82 minutes into the match, Feliks Czempa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Miroslaw Waselenczuk, 1-2. Leonard Zalipski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszek Moczkiewicz having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ruch Radzionków's zone, Miromir Karanowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zbyszek Moczkiewicz came out of the goal and Miromir Karanowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ruch Radzionków walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
