A collision led to Lanken SSA getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Roman Tomaka hit a great ball. Hugon Przybylo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomasz Dziuma in the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Marian Blicharz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugon Przybylo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomasz Dziuma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Hugon Przybylo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marian Blicharz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugon Przybylo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomasz Dziuma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomasz Dziuma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugon Przybylo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Lanken SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Tomasz Dziuma came free, but Hugon Przybylo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damian Kostrzewa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Jajko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marian Blicharz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugon Przybylo having to interfere. Adam Kapinos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damian Kostrzewa having to make a save. In the 42nd minute, Tomasz Dziuma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomasz Dziuma was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Gnezno SA getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Adam Mios hit a great ball. After 62 played minutes Lanken SSA got a freekick which was hit by Julian Jajko. After a defensive mix-up in Lanken SSA's zone, Tomasz Dziuma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugon Przybylo came out of the goal and Tomasz Dziuma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Marian Blicharz could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Hugon Przybylo however easily saved by the left post. Damian Kostrzewa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Kapinos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marian Blicharz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugon Przybylo having to interfere. Lanken SSA's Hugon Przybylo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Lanken SSA from getting a goal against them. 92 minutes into the match, Gnezno SA's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Jajko came free, but Damian Kostrzewa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 minutes, Jacek Borczak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gnezno SA and the Lanken SSA players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Julian Jajko came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Lanken SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Jajko couldn't finish the play. Lanken SSA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gnezno SA for a fine match.
