The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zbyszko Olejniczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wasyl Flis having to interfere. Wisła Sandomierz's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Marut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigiusz Nowacki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 14 played minutes Auras SSA got a freekick which was hit by Marek Soliwoda. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robert Marut to make the kick off. When Jan Zacharczyk fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Auras SSA's protests and gave Jan Zacharczyk a yellow card for diving instead. Jacek Golob received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. When Marek Soliwoda, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 84 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Wasyl Flis was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Konrad Orling during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 85 played minutes Wisła Sandomierz got a freekick which was hit by Konrad Orling. Wit Golec kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Auras SSA's zone, Robert Marut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remigiusz Nowacki came out of the goal and Robert Marut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
