After 5 played minutes Königsblumenau got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Dziewedik. A nice corner shot did that Walery Sanocki got away a dangerous shot. After a rather tough play, Serokomla SA's Zygmunt Falkowski got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After the first half Königsblumenau were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Szczepan Mazierski in the 80th minute of play forced Königsblumenau's goalkeeper Wojciech Kopacz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th match minute, Serokomla SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janusz Dziewulski to maneuver through the defense. Kajetan Lampa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Königsblumenau eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
