The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Witalis Kapinos charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Witalis Kapinos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Witalis Kapinos kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Tobiasz Dudzik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dobromir Cwynar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zachariasz Smolarek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zygmunt Bojanowski's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Zachariasz Smolarek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Bojanowski in the 13th minute of play. Mariusz Wierzcholek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Tobiasz Dudzik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zachariasz Rakiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. The Mehremphin SSA fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Mehremphin SSA's Zygmunt Bojanowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 39 minutes, Zygmunt Bojanowski made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Radziejów's Zachariasz Smolarek tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Zachariasz Smolarek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zachariasz Rakiewicz in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Mehremphin SSA were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zygmunt Bojanowski to make the kick off. Witalis Kapinos tried in the 53rd minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Zachariasz Smolarek a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-3. Zygmunt Bojanowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Zachariasz Smolarek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehremphin SSA's Zachariasz Rakiewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ludomil Klimkiewicz fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mehremphin SSA's protests and gave Ludomil Klimkiewicz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, one of Radziejów:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Radziejów. The referee gave Mehremphin SSA a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marek Snaza, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Radziejów's Zachariasz Smolarek. 0-4. After a rather tough play, Radziejów's Franciszek Jaraczewski got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Zachariasz Smolarek made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Zachariasz Rakiewicz sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zygmunt Bojanowski in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zachariasz Smolarek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Mehremphin SSA's Zygmunt Bojanowski in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Radziejów's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Zachariasz Rakiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mehremphin SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Zachariasz Rakiewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zachariasz Smolarek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Zachariasz Rakiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zygmunt Bojanowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachariasz Smolarek having to interfere. Radziejów's Zachariasz Smolarek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zygmunt Bojanowski in the 96th minute of play. In the 97th play minute Zachariasz Rakiewicz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Zachariasz Smolarek. 0-5. Mehremphin SSA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
