The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliks Chodzinski in the 15th minute of play forced Proboszczowice SSA's goalkeeper Ryszard Rudy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wladyslaw Prusek in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ryszard Rudy saved Proboszczowice SSA from getting behind. Leszek Konieczny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Tadeusz Rosiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Proboszczowice SSA's Leszek Konieczny in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Orneta SSA's zone, Bartlomiej Adamowicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeusz Rosiewicz came out of the goal and Bartlomiej Adamowicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tadeusz Rosiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartlomiej Adamowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Bartlomiej Adamowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orneta SSA's Tadeusz Rosiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leszek Konieczny in the 38th minute of play. Marcin Majewski kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Orneta SSA's zone, Bartlomiej Adamowicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeusz Rosiewicz came out of the goal and Bartlomiej Adamowicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leszek Konieczny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bartlomiej Adamowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeusz Rosiewicz having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leszek Konieczny to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Proboszczowice SSA's Leszek Konieczny made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tadeusz Rosiewicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bartlomiej Adamowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeusz Rosiewicz having to interfere. The supporters of Orneta SSA booed when Proboszczowice SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofil Wlodyga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Orneta SSA's Eugeniusz Tokarczyk broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Bartlomiej Adamowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
