The audience was convinced that Iwo Konieczny's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iwo Grocholski was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Witomir Galagan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Podniebyle's supporters rose to their feet, but Witomir Galagan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Andrychowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38thth minute of the game Stasio Czeberowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pilzno SSA's Artur Andrychowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Konstanty Slazak fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Podniebyle's protests and gave Konstanty Slazak a yellow card for diving instead. Konstanty Slazak kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a rather tough play, Podniebyle's Jedrzej Odachowski got a free kick in the 51st minute. Iwo Konieczny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artur Andrychowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 86 minutes, Stasio Czeberowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Podniebyle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stasio Czeberowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After recieving a nice pass, Podniebyle's Witomir Galagan tried to score from far away in the 88th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Stasio Czeberowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 91 minutes, Franciszek Pryla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pilzno SSA and the Podniebyle players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Pilzno SSA getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Franciszek Pryla hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Stasio Czeberowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Podniebyle booed when Pilzno SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position.
