Marma Polkowice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristián Lapotne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristián Lapotne scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robert Bugno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute, Bogumil Jajecznica made a precise shot to the right of Yann Tavares. Marma Polkowice's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Gazdy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marma Polkowice the free kick. After 52 played minutes Gazdy got a freekick which was hit by Bogumil Jajecznica. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Cristián Lapotne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marma Polkowice's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristián Lapotne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Bugno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristián Lapotne in the 56th minute of play forced Gazdy's goalkeeper Robert Bugno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Stefan Rukszcz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute.
