Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Aivaras Adomavičius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Napoleon Burufski in the 37th minute of play. After 38 played minutes Zawisza Bydgoszcz got a freekick which was hit by Radowit Orling. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Napoleon Burufski made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Napoleon Burufski in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aivaras Adomavičius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 54 minutes into the game, Ignacy Smuskiewicz threw the ball into play from the sideline. The audience was convinced that Napoleon Burufski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aivaras Adomavičius was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Eric Brummer kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Aivaras Adomavičius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Napoleon Burufski in the 89th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Arka Gdynia had played much better football throughout.
