Krisztián Farkas hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Gigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wieslaw Czarnecki in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the game, ROMEX STAR FC's Wieslaw Czarnecki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gigi Buffon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. FC PoNalewce's Cezary Wielowiejski got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The FC PoNalewce fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when FC PoNalewce's Patryk Derlanga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to ROMEX STAR FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Wieslaw Czarnecki hit a great ball. Gigi Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wieslaw Czarnecki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22ndth minute of the game Patryk Derlanga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ROMEX STAR FC's Bogdan Kociniewski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Krzysztof Hejza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC PoNalewce's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ROMEX STAR FC the free kick. Iwo Latocha's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gigi Buffon firmly grabbed it by the left post. FC PoNalewce's Krisztián Farkas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bogdan Kociniewski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to ROMEX STAR FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Zachary Hludzenski hit a great ball. Cezary Wielowiejski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Bogdan Kociniewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Feliks Major left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC PoNalewce fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iwo Latocha to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, ROMEX STAR FC's Iwo Latocha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gigi Buffon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Artur Kajder charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artur Kajder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patryk Derlanga got free with Bogdan Kociniewski in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC PoNalewce played a much better game than ROMEX STAR FC and deserved their victory. The ROMEX STAR FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
