The supporters of CASTLE booed when GRADIATORS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoni Mentis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michal Dobrowski got free with Borys Jucha in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stanislaw Falkiewicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miroslaw Jajecznica. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stanislaw Falkiewicz ran back to his position shaking his head. Miroslaw Jajecznica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislaw Falkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mateusz Wisniewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Miroslaw Jajecznica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Wojciech Bentkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The GRADIATORS fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when GRADIATORS's Stanislaw Falkiewicz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Miroslaw Jajecznica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislaw Falkiewicz in the 28th minute of play. After 31 minutes of play, CASTLE's Arkadiusz Walczak made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Borys Jucha was left in no man's land by his defense there! GRADIATORS's Borys Jucha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save GRADIATORS from getting a goal against them. Miroslaw Jajecznica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stanislaw Falkiewicz's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Miroslaw Jajecznica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislaw Falkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Mateusz Wisniewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miroslaw Jajecznica. CASTLE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mateusz Wisniewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. CASTLE's Miroslaw Jajecznica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislaw Falkiewicz in the 42nd minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wojciech Bentkowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mateusz Wisniewski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Miroslaw Jajecznica when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Wojciech Bentkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislaw Falkiewicz in the 58th minute of play forced CASTLE's goalkeeper Miroslaw Jajecznica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Miroslaw Jajecznica managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when GRADIATORS's Mateusz Wisniewski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislaw Falkiewicz in the 94th minute of play forced CASTLE's goalkeeper Miroslaw Jajecznica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute Wojciech Bentkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Jucha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
