The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stasio Czech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukasz Gondela in the 3rd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Rakieta Solanka's goal looked a bit too open when Lukasz Gondela came free, but Stasio Czech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Ave Silesia's Benedykt Ziomkowski got control of the ball when Zbigniew Ziomkowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute, Wladyslaw Tipinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stasio Czech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukasz Gondela, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Ave Silesia's Benedykt Ziomkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hieronim Kaczor in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Ave Silesia's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Mruk came free, but Benedykt Ziomkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ave Silesia's Fernandinho Antunes got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Hieronim Kaczor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benedykt Ziomkowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zygmunt Tyskie in the 42nd minute of play forced Rakieta Solanka's goalkeeper Stasio Czech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Jerzy Walentowicz in the 44th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ave Silesia's Adam Bialakowski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hieronim Kaczor in the 46th minute of play forced Ave Silesia's goalkeeper Benedykt Ziomkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damian Gierasik to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Zygmunt Tyskie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stasio Czech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerzy Walentowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Ave Silesia's Stasio Czech threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lukasz Gondela, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Benedykt Ziomkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Gierasik, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Stasio Czech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukasz Gondela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Zygmunt Tyskie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 played minutes Rakieta Solanka got a freekick which was hit by Emil Kopacz. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lukasz Gondela in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stasio Czech prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82nd match minute, Rakieta Solanka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Gierasik to maneuver through the defense. Jaroslaw Liermann took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stasio Czech. Rakieta Solanka's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 86th minute, Emil Kopacz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedykt Ziomkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hieronim Kaczor in the 89th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Fernandinho Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukasz Gondela in the 94th minute of play forced Rakieta Solanka's goalkeeper Stasio Czech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Hieronim Kaczor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rakieta Solanka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ave Silesia the free kick.
