When Eustacio Artizar came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Football Lodz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustacio Artizar couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the match, Football Lodz's Eustacio Artizar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marian Kajfasz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Remigiusz Fedosz charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
