Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ryszard Pilipiec kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Gummeson in the 6th minute of play forced Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper Gilbert Podolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute William Gummeson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Podolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, William Gummeson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilbert Podolski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. OKS Odra Opole's Thomas Fredriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Pilipiec in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Artur Paprotny was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OKS Odra Opole's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pogoń Stawiszyn the free kick. The supporters of Pogoń Stawiszyn booed when OKS Odra Opole was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Paprotny didn't get a good kick on the ball. OKS Odra Opole's Thomas Fredriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Pilipiec in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Gummeson in the 20th minute of play forced Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper Gilbert Podolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilbert Podolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Gummeson, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, OKS Odra Opole's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Kaznocha came free, but Thomas Fredriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Adam Kaznocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Fredriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, William Gummeson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, OKS Odra Opole's Raul Dolcet got a free kick in the 39th minute. Thomas Fredriksson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Adam Kaznocha. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 58th minute Ignacy Tepper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Podolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Kossakowski charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julian Kossakowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Julian Kossakowski hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper Gilbert Podolski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pavol Meluš. With a little luck, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Gilbert Podolski got control of the ball when William Gummeson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves William Gummeson could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Gilbert Podolski however easily saved by the left post. 81 minutes into the match, Pogoń Stawiszyn's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacy Tepper came free, but Gilbert Podolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th match minute, Pogoń Stawiszyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartosz Faron to maneuver through the defense. William Gummeson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chants of OKS Odra Opole echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Pogoń Stawiszyn had held the ball for most of the match.
