When Hugon Sadlowski came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the SANDECJA Nowy Sacz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugon Sadlowski couldn't finish the play. Dawid Cwenar made in the 45th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Hjörleifur Hilmarsson immediately put the ball in play. After some careless play in the SANDECJA Nowy Sacz defense, Hjörleifur Hilmarsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wiktor Pieprz. The SANDECJA Nowy Sacz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wiktor Pieprz should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time.
