Radzionków's Florentino Esquipula proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Radzionków from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Kaminski in the 24th minute of play forced Radzionków's goalkeeper Florentino Esquipula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gwidon Charamut hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Florentino Esquipula made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoni Kaminski in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rotterdam Tychy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arkadiusz Czysty was slow to take the kick. During this time Radzionków's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that 武斌云 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Klement Lerych quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Fix during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 41 minutes into the match, Radzionków's goalkeeper Florentino Esquipula had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valentin Crivoi. A collision led to Radzionków getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Diego Fix hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Rotterdam Tychy's Aleksander Grabowski seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Aleksander Grabowski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rotterdam Tychy protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aleksander Grabowski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Klement Lerych showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arkadiusz Czysty, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 武斌云 to make the kick off. Rotterdam Tychy's Klement Lerych proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Rotterdam Tychy from getting a goal against them. If Wladyslaw Barys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sylwester Borkowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florentino Esquipula read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Florentino Esquipula didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sylwester Borkowski went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Florentino Esquipula made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoni Kaminski in the 73rd minute of play. After 80 played minutes Radzionków got a freekick which was hit by Hugon Czerner. After 81 played minutes Radzionków got a freekick which was hit by Klement Jurgiel. Rotterdam Tychy's Valentin Crivoi got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Klement Lerych showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 武斌云 in the 84th minute of the match. With a little luck, Rotterdam Tychy's Klement Lerych got control of the ball when Wincenty Dobilas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Radzionków supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Radzionków would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
