After a defensive mix-up in Jagiellonia Bialystok's zone, Tolek Basaik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wieslaw Trzaskoma came out of the goal and Tolek Basaik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute Tolek Basaik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wieslaw Trzaskoma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haikal Nerre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Praski in the 18th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Dariusz Praski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jagiellonia Bialystok's supporters rose to their feet, but Dariusz Praski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haikal Nerre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Haikal Nerre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Praski in the 21st minute of play. Aleksander Winograd came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Haikal Nerre could save by the left post. Tolek Basaiks short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Wieslaw Trzaskoma to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 83rd minute, but Wieslaw Trzaskoma got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Jagiellonia Bialystok hanging dry this time. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dariusz Praski in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haikal Nerre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tolek Basaik got free with Wieslaw Trzaskoma in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wieslaw Trzaskoma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miromir Turek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jagiellonia Bialystok's Aleksander Winograd got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nowa Drużyna players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Jagiellonia Bialystok.
