The KS HANZA Goleniów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maj Maj should have stopped the shot. Lucjan Zgonina kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th match minute, KS HANZA Goleniów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klement Marut to maneuver through the defense. Mariusz Skoroda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Șerban Chihaia, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patryk Dulka in the 20th minute of play forced GKS PINKOLE - Ruda Śląska's goalkeeper Mariusz Skoroda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 minutes GKS PINKOLE - Ruda Śląska's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmund Moryl who took care of the corner kick. The corner led KS HANZA Goleniów's Edmund Moryl to fire away a dangerous shot which Mariusz Skoroda despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, GKS PINKOLE - Ruda Śląska's goal looked a bit too open when Șerban Chihaia came free, but Mariusz Skoroda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Patryk Dulka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 played minutes KS HANZA Goleniów got a freekick which was hit by Zbyszek Przybyciel. In the 42nd minute Cyryl Wiater shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maj Maj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half GKS PINKOLE - Ruda Śląska were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Mariusz Skoroda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Șerban Chihaia in the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, GKS PINKOLE - Ruda Śląska's Ludomil Faron got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Mariusz Skoroda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patryk Dulka in the 54th minute of play. Bogdan Gongolewicz struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Maj Maj didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GKS PINKOLE - Ruda Śląska.
