Fridtjof Kirkhus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geir Willumsen in the 6th minute. Johannes Uthaug kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After 12 minutes of play Risdal IF's Johannes Uthaug was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Aal Blackhawks booed when Risdal IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Uthaug didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Steffen Pilskog managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aal Blackhawks's supporters rose to their feet, but Steffen Pilskog was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gjøran Dramstad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aal Blackhawks's Geir Rolfsen pulled a muscle in his leg after 18 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Peter Ramsøy charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peter Ramsøy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Peter Ramsøy hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Aal Blackhawks's Fridtjof Kirkhus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Aal Blackhawks from getting a goal against them. Emanuel Ausland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Fridtjof Kirkhus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Steffen Pilskog sped through Risdal IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gjøran Dramstad. Fridtjof Kirkhus made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Geir Willumsen sent off a good shot on target. The Aal Blackhawks fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Aal Blackhawks's Steffen Pilskog looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Steffen Pilskog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Steffen Pilskog made a kick off. After 53 minutes, Edvard Aabel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Risdal IF and the Aal Blackhawks players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edvard Aabel hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Aleksander Rogne's late challenge caught a Risdal IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aleksander Rogne helped the player get up and apologised. Aleksander Rogne kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Aslak Trana, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geir Willumsen in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fridtjof Kirkhus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 63 minutes into the match, Aal Blackhawks's goal looked a bit too open when Geir Willumsen came free, but Fridtjof Kirkhus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andreas Martinsen hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Steffen Pilskog managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aal Blackhawks's supporters rose to their feet, but Steffen Pilskog was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gjøran Dramstad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With 69 minutes on the clock, Konrad Høyvik commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Risdal IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Aal Blackhawks:s goal. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Aal Blackhawks. Hans-Martin Storebø stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gjøran Dramstad. 0-4. A collision led to Aal Blackhawks getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Christer Solvang hit a great ball. Steffen Pilskog fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gjøran Dramstad having to interfere. Aleksander Rogne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Steffen Pilskog who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Gjøran Dramstad when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Steffen Pilskog succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 96th playminute.
