Jimmy Heimstad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Steffen Pilskog's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Team Pinarello's goal looked a bit too open when Geir Rolfsen came free, but Jimmy Heimstad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Josef Høydahl during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Team Pinarello getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Josef Høydahl hit a great ball. Jimmy Heimstad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Steffen Pilskog in the 30th minute. A collision led to Aal Blackhawks getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Steffen Grindheim hit a great ball. Emanuel Halvorsen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fridtjof Kirkhus. Aal Blackhawks's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

Team Pinarello made a substitution. Espen Nybakk replaced Inge Lone. Christer Bashir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jimmy Heimstad having to make a save. 65 minutes into the game, Amund Larsen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fridtjof Kirkhus. Amund Larsen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amund Larsen in the 70th minute of play forced Aal Blackhawks's goalkeeper Fridtjof Kirkhus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Team Pinarello's Josef Høydahl ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fridtjof Kirkhus. Fridtjof Kirkhus yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Fridtjof Kirkhus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amund Larsen in the 80th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Asbjørn Bergheim got free with Fridtjof Kirkhus in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute, Amund Larsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Asbjørn Bergheim struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Fridtjof Kirkhus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Team Pinarello.
