Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kent Skråmestø kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice moves Jonathan Ekeland could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Brage Lekven however easily saved by the left post. Vebjørn Martinsen struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Ingvar Strand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saltvikhavnen IF. Vebjørn Martinsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ingvar Strand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jimmy Sørdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kent Skråmestø charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kent Skråmestø the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, Kent Skråmestø hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ingvar Strand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Sørdal, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Ingvar Strand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vebjørn Martinsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Kringlen IF defense, Vebjørn Martinsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ingvar Strand. The Kringlen IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ingvar Strand should have stopped the shot. Vebjørn Martinsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Skråmestø in the 46th minute of play forced Saltvikhavnen IF's goalkeeper Brage Lekven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Saltvikhavnen IF's Jimmy Sørdal in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kringlen IF's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Saltvikhavnen IF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Paul Hvattum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingvar Strand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Sørdal, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Brage Lekven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tor-Henrik Bergan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tor-Henrik Bergan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor-Henrik Bergan in the 67th minute of play forced Saltvikhavnen IF's goalkeeper Brage Lekven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Jimmy Sørdal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Strand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Kringlen IF's Kent Skråmestø sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brage Lekven narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vebjørn Martinsen got free with Ingvar Strand in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 87 minutes into the game, Kent Skråmestø cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Brage Lekven was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Ekeland during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonathan Ekeland hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Jimmy Sørdal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ingvar Strand having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Kent Skråmestø managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kringlen IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Kent Skråmestø was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brage Lekven breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tor-Henrik Bergan came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Kringlen IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tor-Henrik Bergan couldn't finish the play.
