The audience thought a goal was coming when Thorbjørn Jordet got free with Brage Lekven in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thorbjørn Jordets short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Brage Lekven to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. bare fremover's Carl Torbjørnsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy Sørdal in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute Leon Nesheim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brage Lekven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 minutes, Cato Søvik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saltvikhavnen IF and the bare fremover players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Saltvikhavnen IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! A hard shot by Sebastian Moseid from long distance, 37 minutes into the match, got Brage Lekven's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Leon Nesheim came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the bare fremover fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Nesheim couldn't finish the play. In the 41st match minute, Saltvikhavnen IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cato Søvik to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Moseid, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jimmy Sørdal made a kick off. Vebjørn Martinsen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Carl Torbjørnsen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jimmy Sørdal scored 1-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carl Torbjørnsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, bare fremover's Snorre Hellerud got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Vebjørn Martinsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th match minute, bare fremover was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trym Nerli to maneuver through the defense. Leon Nesheim struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Brage Lekven didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for bare fremover. Leon Nesheim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brage Lekven having to interfere. When Sivert Oksnes fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saltvikhavnen IF's protests and gave Sivert Oksnes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th match minute, Saltvikhavnen IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sivert Oksnes to maneuver through the defense. Leon Nesheim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Brage Lekven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Vebjørn Martinsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saltvikhavnen IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Vebjørn Martinsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carl Torbjørnsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. bare fremover were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
