Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Joakim Raastad started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute of the match, Fredrik Anderssen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sturle Bjerkan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 3rd minute, Jim Sørbø had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. David Skjolden charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Skjolden the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 played minutes Melby Ballklubb got a freekick which was hit by David Skjolden. 9 minutes into the match, Vestbøstad BF's goal looked a bit too open when Oddvar Bergo came free, but John-Edvin Nydal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joakim Raastad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15thth minute of the game Oddvar Bergo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vestbøstad BF's John-Edvin Nydal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. John-Edvin Nydal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oddvar Bergo in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute Oddvar Bergo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John-Edvin Nydal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Vestbøstad BF getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Fredrik Anderssen hit a great ball. Thorbjørn Høye kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. John-Edvin Nydal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joakim Raastad in the 25th minute of play. Vestbøstad BF's John-Edvin Nydal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oddvar Bergo in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Oddvar Bergo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of John-Edvin Nydal. Vestbøstad BF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oddvar Bergo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Oddvar Bergo took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised John-Edvin Nydal. John-Edvin Nydal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The supporters of Melby Ballklubb booed when Vestbøstad BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredrik Anderssen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vestbøstad BF's zone, Joakim Raastad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. John-Edvin Nydal came out of the goal and Joakim Raastad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joakim Raastad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vestbøstad BF's John-Edvin Nydal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oddvar Bergo in the 44th minute of play. Martin Sollid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John-Edvin Nydal having to interfere.

The wind increased when David Ek made the kick off in the second half. If David Ek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melby Ballklubb's Oddvar Bergo got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joakim Raastad received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. John-Edvin Nydal came out and tried to block the shot, but Joakim Raastad slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 62nd minute. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Martin Sollid got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Asmund Miljeteig came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Melby Ballklubb fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Asmund Miljeteig couldn't finish the play. After having played for 71 minutes, Martin Sollid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melby Ballklubb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Sollid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Melby Ballklubb's Oddvar Bergo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that John-Edvin Nydal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sturle Bjerkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Anderssen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Ek took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sturle Bjerkan. Sturle Bjerkan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. John-Edvin Nydal had great luck who in the 81stth minute grab hold of the ball when Joakim Raastad from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 82nd minute Martin Sollid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John-Edvin Nydal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Joakim Raastad dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of John-Edvin Nydal, 1-4. If Joakim Raastad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melby Ballklubb played a much better game than Vestbøstad BF and deserved their victory. The Vestbøstad BF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
