An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Raastad in the 17th minute of play forced Rosendal I.l's goalkeeper Raymond Østreng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oddvar Bergo got free with Raymond Østreng in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Josef Wangen kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Raymond Østreng made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. A collision led to Rosendal I.l getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Frode Sellæg hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, Melby Ballklubb's Joakim Raastad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raymond Østreng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Asmund Miljeteig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Raymond Østreng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Melby Ballklubb fully deserved thier win.
