Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Bendik Fagerheim started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Frode Sinnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asmund Miljeteig in the 3rd minute of the match. Oddvar Bergo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute Joakim Raastad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frode Sinnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Asmund Miljeteig fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Melby Ballklubb's protests and gave Asmund Miljeteig a yellow card for diving instead. Asmund Miljeteig hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Joakim Raastad struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Frode Sinnes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Melby Ballklubb. Grødal's Frode Sinnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Raastad in the 28th minute of play. If Joakim Raastad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Skjolden during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 34 played minutes Melby Ballklubb got a freekick which was hit by David Skjolden. Oddvar Bergo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frode Sinnes having to interfere. Frode Sinnes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joakim Raastad, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After some careless play in the Grødal defense, Oddvar Bergo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frode Sinnes. The Grødal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frode Sinnes should have stopped the shot. Frode Sinnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Sollid in the 47th minute of the match.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joakim Raastad stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bendik Fagerheim during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th minute, Joakim Raastad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joakim Raastad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Joakim Raastad came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Melby Ballklubb fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joakim Raastad couldn't finish the play. Oddvar Bergo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bendik Fagerheim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Raastad in the 87th minute of play forced Grødal's goalkeeper Frode Sinnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Melby Ballklubb's Joakim Raastad slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Frode Sinnes. That made the score 0-6 after 92 minutes of play. Frode Sinnes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joakim Raastad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Joakim Raastad made a precise shot to the right of Frode Sinnes. Grødal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. When the final whistle sounded Melby Ballklubb left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Grødal.
