Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frode Vårdal started the match with the kick off. After 8 minutes, Laurits Ismail mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brydalen IL and the Knapplund IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Brydalen IL:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Knapplund IF:s goal. Otto Næsheim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Joakim Dahlstrøm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute Ole-Einar Fischer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Dahlstrøm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ole-Einar Fischer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Niklas Askvik during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Brydalen IL booed when Knapplund IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niklas Askvik didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute of the match Ivar Opseth sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amund Brænden skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frode Vårdal in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amund Brænden saved Knapplund IF from getting behind. The supporters of Brydalen IL booed when Knapplund IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hauk Nygård didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Frode Vårdal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brydalen IL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frode Vårdal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Willumsen might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amund Brænden. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Willumsen ran back to his position shaking his head. Amund Brænden was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Daniel Willumsen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Willumsen really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ole-Einar Fischer to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Otto Næsheim fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Joakim Dahlstrøm, passed just outside the right post. After having played for 55 minutes, Hans-Petter Petterson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brydalen IL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans-Petter Petterson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Ole-Einar Fischer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joakim Dahlstrøm. That made the score 1-1 in the 58 minute of play. Otto Næsheim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Joakim Dahlstrøm made a huge save. Joakim Dahlstrøm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ole-Einar Fischer in the 73rd minute of the match. Otto Næsheim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Dahlstrøm having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Axel Karstensen during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Knapplund IF's Axel Karstensen got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute Frode Vårdal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amund Brænden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Karstensen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
