Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Halvor Rørstad started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Johannes Mikkelsen charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johannes Mikkelsen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Faxe's Johannes Mikkelsen got a free kick in the 7th minute. Faxe's Per-Kristian Aksnes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Faxe from getting a goal against them. After 10 minutes Faxe's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marius Skjørestad who took care of the corner kick. In the 22nd minute, Ferdinand Narvestad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 34 played minutes Faxe got a freekick which was hit by Trygve Le. Ferdinand Narvestad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Per-Kristian Aksnes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Halvor Rørstad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferdinand Narvestad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferdinand Narvestad was the one to do the kick off. Ferdinand Narvestad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marius Skjørestad kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Ferdinand Narvestad struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Karsten Aarseth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Faxe. 66 minutes into the game, Brage Wolden was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Orhaugen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Faxe the free kick. After 66 played minutes Orhaugen got a freekick which was hit by Brage Wolden. Per-Kristian Aksnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Kielland in the 68th minute of the match. When Roald Randen fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Faxe's protests and gave Roald Randen a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Kielland in the 75th minute of play forced Faxe's goalkeeper Per-Kristian Aksnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Orhaugen booed when Faxe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roald Randen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd match minute, Orhaugen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joakim Farah to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute, Orhaugen's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ferdinand Narvestad fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Faxe players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
