A hard shot 6 in the game by Bent Gangstad from a close distance when the talented Iver Vatn managed to make a qualified save. Maiden FC's players were relieved. Iver Vatn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Santana Serra showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Ragnar Løset showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Hellenes, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Maiden FC's goalkeeper Iver Vatn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bent Gangstad. Warrior FC's Ragnar Løset played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Hellenes in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Warrior FC's Steffen Mæhre got a free kick in the 25th minute. Ragnar Løset made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tord Buvarp in the 26th minute of play. Andreas Sælen charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andreas Sælen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th match minute, Maiden FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Sælen to maneuver through the defense. Bent Gangstad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Iver Vatn made a huge save. Ragnar Løset made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Hellenes in the 43rd minute of play. Mikael Vatne charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mikael Vatne the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, Mikael Vatne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Per Hellenes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ragnar Løset read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Tord Buvarp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ragnar Løset was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tord Buvarp made a kick off. Ragnar Løset showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tord Buvarp in the 54th minute of the match. Santana Serra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ragnar Løset made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Per Hellenes sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute, Mikael Vatne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Tord Buvarp fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ragnar Løset, passed just outside the right post. Per Hellenes took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ragnar Løset. Ragnar Løset dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. When Gabriel Olafsen fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maiden FC's protests and gave Gabriel Olafsen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd minute, Gabriel Olafsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iver Vatn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santana Serra in the 79th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per Hellenes got free with Ragnar Løset in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ragnar Løset showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tord Buvarp in the 93rd minute of the match. Maiden FC's Iver Vatn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bent Gangstad in the 95th minute of play. Ragnar Løset took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tord Buvarp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Warrior FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Maiden FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
