In the 10thth minute of the game Christoffer Stange who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Senom BK's Sjur Bjerkestrand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Jim-André Røen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tord Våge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Slettebø in the 15th minute of play. Senom BK's Sjur Bjerkestrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoffer Stange in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Ferdinand Soma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 minutes, Christer Hagberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Orkla FK and the Senom BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Christer Hagberg kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Linus Iversen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tord Våge. Orkla FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tord Våge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Slettebø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Johannes Slettebø stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. John-Edvin Richardsen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Tord Våge skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kent-Are Østreng who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Tord Våge when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Johannes Slettebø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Orkla FK's goalkeeper Tord Våge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kent-Are Østreng. Senom BK's Kent-Are Østreng got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Orkla FK's Tord Våge got control of the ball when Kent-Are Østreng tried to sneak it across the goal line. Torgeir Raknes's late challenge caught a Senom BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torgeir Raknes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Senom BK booed when Orkla FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torgeir Raknes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tord Våge made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Kent-Are Østreng sent off a good shot on target. Amund Granly kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Johannes Slettebø struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Tord Våge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Senom BK. 78 minutes into the match, Orkla FK's Jim-André Røen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sjur Bjerkestrand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Johannes Slettebø got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Senom BK's zone, Jim-André Røen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sjur Bjerkestrand came out of the goal and Jim-André Røen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. John-Edvin Richardsen hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute Jim-André Røen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sjur Bjerkestrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tord Våge made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Kent-Are Østreng sent off a good shot on target. If Johannes Slettebø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Kent-Are Østreng managed to get in a good position for a shot. Senom BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kent-Are Østreng was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tord Våge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Senom BK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Orkla FK from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
