The referee ignored Orkla FK's protests and gave Jim-André Røen a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Orkla FK got a freekick which was hit by Jim-André Røen. After having played for 5 minutes, Christoffer Stange managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orkla FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christoffer Stange was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tord Våge didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgard Aanes went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Bent Lindland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jim-André Røen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orkla FK's Christoffer Stange got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Domination BK getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Erling Nergaard hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Orkla FK's goalkeeper Tord Våge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lars Grønseth. In the 42nd minute, Domination BK's Yngvar Kristiansen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tord Våge. Tord Våge yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Domination BK's Bent Lindland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoffer Stange in the 46th minute of play. In the 49th minute, Christer Hagberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Tord Våge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yngvar Kristiansen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Edgard Aanes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 61 minutes, Amund Granly mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Orkla FK and the Domination BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st match minute, Orkla FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amund Granly to maneuver through the defense. Edgard Aanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tord Våge having to interfere. Yngvar Kristiansen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tord Våge read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Amund Granly kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Orkla FK's Tord Våge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yngvar Kristiansen in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Orkla FK's Philip Hilstad got a free kick in the 73rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yngvar Kristiansen in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tord Våge saved Orkla FK from getting behind. Orkla FK's Tord Våge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Aanes in the 81st minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Christer Hagberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Orkla FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Domination BK the free kick. Asgeir Jonsson kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Bent Lindland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoffer Stange, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Edgard Aanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tord Våge having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Jonathan Halleland cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Tord Våge was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Orkla FK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
