With a little luck, Sponvika's Leonard Sandum got control of the ball when Kent-Are Østreng tried to sneak it across the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Sponvika's goalkeeper Leonard Sandum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kent-Are Østreng. When Linus Iversen fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Senom BK's protests and gave Linus Iversen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sponvika booed when Senom BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Linus Iversen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Edgard Stavem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Sponvika's Martin Granlund broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Thomas Iversen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torjus Haavik scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sjur Bjerkestrand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilhelm Bergh kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Johannes Slettebø received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leonard Sandum came out and tried to block the shot, but Johannes Slettebø slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 32nd minute. Sjur Bjerkestrand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Iversen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sjur Bjerkestrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torjus Haavik in the 42nd minute of the match. John-Edvin Richardsen hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Johannes Slettebø stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sponvika's Leonard Sandum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Slettebø in the 53rd minute of play. Leonard Sandum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Slettebø in the 58th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by John-Edvin Richardsen during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thomas Iversen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sjur Bjerkestrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Iversen in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Slettebø in the 73rd minute of play forced Sponvika's goalkeeper Leonard Sandum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kent-Are Østreng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leonard Sandum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent-Are Østreng in the 75th minute of play. Johannes Slettebø took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonard Sandum. Leonard Sandum dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Sjur Bjerkestrand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomas Iversen's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Slettebø in the 90th minute of play forced Sponvika's goalkeeper Leonard Sandum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Johannes Slettebø managed to get in a good position for a shot. Senom BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Johannes Slettebø was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonard Sandum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, Sponvika's goal looked a bit too open when Kent-Are Østreng came free, but Leonard Sandum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonard Sandum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Slettebø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
