An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Olsen in the 12th minute of play forced Boyz n the Hood's goalkeeper Arild Øygard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grafsen BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boyz n the Hood the free kick. In the 36th minute Lars-Erik Sanne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Vie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ludvik Heggen kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Alfred Olsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arild Øygard having to interfere. If Arve Skog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Boyz n the Hood's Storm Aune got a free kick in the 45th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfred Olsen to make the kick off. Jonathan Vie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars-Erik Sanne's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. A collision led to Grafsen BK getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jon-Arne Brandvik hit a great ball. After having played for 55 minutes, Alfred Olsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grafsen BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfred Olsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Lars-Erik Sanne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arve Skog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Arild Øygard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Arild Øygard successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Arve Skog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alfred Olsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 played minutes Grafsen BK got a freekick which was hit by Jon-Arne Brandvik. In the 76th minute, Jon-Arne Brandvik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lars-Erik Sanne kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. When Arve Skog came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Grafsen BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arve Skog couldn't finish the play. After having played for 80 minutes, Alfred Olsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grafsen BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfred Olsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arve Skog's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arild Øygard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 95th minute of the match Kjetil Bredesen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Vie skillfully saved the ball.
