Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brede Lundemo started the match with the kick off. A hard shot by Anton Thorsø from long distance, 5 minutes into the match, got Thorbjørn Folgerø's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With his leg Thorbjørn Folgerø managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Team Rugelsjoen's Hans Onarheim fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 12 minutes of play, Team Rugelsjoen's Hans Onarheim made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thorbjørn Folgerø was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hans Halsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoffer Kverneland, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Hans Halsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoffer Kverneland in the 32nd minute of the match. Team Rugelsjoen's Hans Onarheim got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hans Onarheim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Thorbjørn Folgerø tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 minutes, Jørund Shala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Team Rugelsjoen and the Trones BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes Team Rugelsjoen got a freekick which was hit by Jørund Shala. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Christoffer Kverneland made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Christoffer Kverneland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trones BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Christoffer Kverneland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans Halsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hans Halsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jens Refseth went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Brede Lundemo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Brede Lundemo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thorbjørn Folgerø showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brede Lundemo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Thorbjørn Folgerø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Onarheim in the 70th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Trones BF's Christoffer Kverneland slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hans Halsen. That made the score 1-2 after 71 minutes of play. In the 74th match minute, Trones BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Kvalheim to maneuver through the defense. If Brede Lundemo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hans Onarheim struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Thorbjørn Folgerø didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Team Rugelsjoen. After a defensive mix-up in Trones BF's zone, Brede Lundemo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thorbjørn Folgerø came out of the goal and Brede Lundemo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, Brede Lundemo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Trones BF's Thorbjørn Folgerø. Thorbjørn Folgerø was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 93rd minute Brede Lundemo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thorbjørn Folgerø saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hans Onarheim might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thorbjørn Folgerø. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hans Onarheim ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Team Rugelsjoen players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
