After a rather tough play, Forrfjord's Peter Nordskog got a free kick in the 5th minute. Mons Herfindal struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Fridtjof Olsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Den krispe krabbe FK. Georg Aarstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fridtjof Olsen having to interfere. Mons Herfindals short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Fridtjof Olsen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kim Aanensen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Edvin Strande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Den krispe krabbe FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! In the 18th minute there was a penalty for Forrfjord. Den krispe krabbe FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trond Horpestad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fridtjof Olsen made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Mons Herfindal sent off a good shot on target. When Mons Herfindal came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Den krispe krabbe FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mons Herfindal couldn't finish the play. Georg Aarstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fridtjof Olsen having to interfere. Fridtjof Olsen made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Mons Herfindal sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan-Kenneth Aamodt to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Forrfjord defense, Trond Horpestad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fridtjof Olsen. The Forrfjord fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fridtjof Olsen should have stopped the shot. Kim Aanensen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvin Strande having to interfere. Kim Aanensen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Edvin Strande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Georg Aarstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fridtjof Olsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kim Aanensen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvin Strande having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Den krispe krabbe FK had won after a very even match.
