In the 5th match minute, Melsvik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Espen Risnes to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 11 minutes, Dan Roland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melsvik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dan Roland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Konrad Kjelstad got free with Kent-Are Sleire in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kent-Are Sleire stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dan Roland's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. After 15 minutes of play, Melsvik's Konrad Kjelstad made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kent-Are Sleire was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Bergem in the 19th minute of play forced Melsvik's goalkeeper Severin Hatlevik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Thorbjørn Christoffersen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severin Hatlevik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Bergem, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. If Dan Roland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severin Hatlevik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Krasniqi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Melsvik's Dan Roland in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rolset's goalie prevented a goal. Erik Bergem struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Severin Hatlevik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rolset. Severin Hatlevik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Krasniqi in the 38th minute of play. Severin Hatlevik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åge Backe, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Krasniqi in the 57th minute of play forced Melsvik's goalkeeper Severin Hatlevik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Håkon Aanestad's late challenge caught a Melsvik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Håkon Aanestad helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, Rolset was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Håkon Aanestad to maneuver through the defense. After 74 played minutes, Rolset's Frode Dale shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Severin Hatlevik came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rolset reached it. Erik Bergem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Melsvik's Severin Hatlevik got control of the ball when Erik Bergem tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dan Roland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent-Are Sleire having to interfere. When Dan Roland came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Melsvik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dan Roland couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute, Åge Backe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Konrad Kjelstad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
