Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) A collision led to Smørdal getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Jørund Klingenberg hit a great ball. Inge Dahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Grytöra's Inge Dahl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Bredesen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jim Berland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Martin Bredesen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Inge Dahl made a precise shot to the right of Martin Bredesen. Smørdal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 29th minute, Smørdal's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Inge Dahl fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Smørdal's Martin Bredesen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Smørdal from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Grytöra booed when Smørdal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Einar Nordheim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inge Dahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Bredesen having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Inge Dahl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grytöra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inge Dahl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martin Bredesen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jim Berland in the 39th minute. When Jim Berland came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Grytöra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jim Berland couldn't finish the play. Rasmus Dalene received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Per Fossmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arild Aslam made a kick off. Smørdal were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Grytöra's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Linus Tjessem took the corner. After some careless play in the Smørdal defense, Inge Dahl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Bredesen. The Smørdal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Bredesen should have stopped the shot. Jim Berland hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Martin Bredesen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arve Hjelde in the 70th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Grytöra's zone, Rasmus Dalene stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per Fossmark came out of the goal and Rasmus Dalene tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Per Fossmark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arild Aslam, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Grytöra's zone, Arild Aslam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per Fossmark came out of the goal and Arild Aslam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Arild Aslam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 80 played minutes Grytöra got a freekick which was hit by Håkon Harstad. Rasmus Dalene fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Fossmark having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Grytöra's Runar Engeseth got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Arild Aslam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the game, Jim Berland cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Martin Bredesen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Grytöra's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
