Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gump Kickers's Bjørnar Greve started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jon Strømmen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Ingebrigtsen having to interfere. Bjørnar Greve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bjørnar Greve in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torjus Moi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute of the match Daniel Alnes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Torjus Moi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Torjus Moi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bjørnar Greve, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gump Kickers's zone, Jon Strømmen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carl Ingebrigtsen came out of the goal and Jon Strømmen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lasse Landro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gump Kickers's Carl Ingebrigtsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon Strømmen in the 34th minute of play. After 35 played minutes Ådalsbruk got a freekick which was hit by Lennart Lenes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon Strømmen in the 39th minute of play forced Gump Kickers's goalkeeper Carl Ingebrigtsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Bjørnar Greve who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ådalsbruk's Torjus Moi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 56 minutes, Jon Strømmen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ådalsbruk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jon Strømmen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Gump Kickers's goalkeeper Carl Ingebrigtsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jon Strømmen. In the 62nd minute, Frode Bårdsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lasse Landro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Carl Ingebrigtsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Gump Kickers booed when Ådalsbruk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lasse Landro didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lasse Landro in the 75th minute of play forced Gump Kickers's goalkeeper Carl Ingebrigtsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Erik Nereng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Nereng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Ådalsbruk's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Nereng came free, but Torjus Moi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lasse Landro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Carl Ingebrigtsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jon Strømmen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gump Kickers had won after a very even match.
