After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Follaug BK! When the match had been going on for 6 minutes, Kaldheim's Filip Dalhaug got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rune Otterlei. Rune Otterlei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre Aerts in the 8th minute of play. Kenneth Ulvik charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kenneth Ulvik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes Follaug BK got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Bjørk. 18 minutes into the game, Pierre Aerts recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rune Otterlei. Pierre Aerts showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 22 minutes into the match, Kaldheim's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Bjørk came free, but Robert Nilsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Follaug BK getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Lars-Olav Storebø hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Bjørk in the 26th minute of play forced Kaldheim's goalkeeper Robert Nilsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard, long distance shot from Ådne Elstad flew over the goal. Kenneth Ulvik got his second yellow card in the match during the 35th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Follaug BK's Kenneth Ulvik got a free kick in the 35th minute. After 39 played minutes Follaug BK got a freekick which was hit by Bjarte Løken. If Asgeir Alstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute of the match, Pierre Aerts tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rune Otterlei saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ådne Elstad took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rune Otterlei. Rune Otterlei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Kaldheim made a substitution. Audun Eikenes replaced Pierre Aerts. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfred Bjørk was the one to do the kick off. Amund Fjellanger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Kaldheim booed when Follaug BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asgeir Alstad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rune Otterlei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mehmet Oğuz Bilen in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rune Otterlei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Birk Eidet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute Audun Eikenes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Otterlei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Mehmet Oğuz Bilen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kaldheim's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmet Oğuz Bilen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rune Otterlei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Audun Eikenes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Otterlei having to interfere. Ådne Elstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Otterlei having to interfere. Kaldheim walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
