The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Martin Bjelland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Konrad Skår was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Tilleraune BF's Trym Kaland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Rolandsen in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Bjelland in the 16th minute of play forced Øverbygda's goalkeeper Konrad Skår to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Adam Klingenberg fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Øverbygda's protests and gave Adam Klingenberg a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Bjelland in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Konrad Skår prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24thth minute of the game Martin Bjelland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Øverbygda's Konrad Skår was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Martin Bjelland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Konrad Skår was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. If Lukas Stange had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 27 in the game by Martin Bjelland from a close distance when the talented Konrad Skår managed to make a qualified save. Øverbygda's players were relieved. With his leg Konrad Skår managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Tilleraune BF's Martin Bjelland fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Adam Klingenberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tor-Henrik Bjerkelund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Trym Kaland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lukas Stange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 44th minute of the match Adam Klingenberg completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Adam Klingenberg a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 45th minute, Adam Klingenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The supporters of Tilleraune BF booed when Øverbygda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mons Killi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Konrad Skår stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Bjelland's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Bjelland in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 59thth minute of the game Martin Bjelland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Øverbygda's Konrad Skår was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Martin Bjelland scored 1-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Konrad Skår, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 74 minutes, Richard Rolandsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Øverbygda and the Tilleraune BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Øverbygda's Konrad Skår played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Bjelland in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Øverbygda's Kjartan Strømsvåg got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 88th minute, Sverre Stokkenes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tilleraune BF's Martin Bjelland got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tilleraune BF had played much better football throughout.
