An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjetil Arnesen in the 4th minute of play forced Holdensæter's goalkeeper Ole-Einar Skauen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ole-Einar Skauen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjetil Arnesen, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Brage Sandvoll managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vikjorden's supporters rose to their feet, but Brage Sandvoll was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ole-Einar Skauen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15thth minute of the game Kjetil Arnesen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Holdensæter's Ole-Einar Skauen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kjetil Arnesen struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Ole-Einar Skauen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vikjorden. Ole-Einar Skauen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjetil Arnesen, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The audience was convinced that Kjetil Arnesen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ole-Einar Skauen was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Ole-Einar Skauen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjetil Arnesen in the 30th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Holdensæter's Roy Forberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Asmund Ødegård. Asmund Ødegård yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kjetil Arnesen in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ole-Einar Skauen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vikjorden's goalkeeper Asmund Ødegård, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brage Sandvoll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

When Stig-Inge Holen came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Holdensæter fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stig-Inge Holen couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Vikjorden getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Jonathan Narvestad hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Brage Sandvoll got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kjetil Arnesen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ole-Einar Skauen having to interfere. If Brage Sandvoll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kjetil Arnesen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 80 minutes, Kjetil Arnesen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vikjorden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kjetil Arnesen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kjetil Arnesen in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ole-Einar Skauen saved Holdensæter from getting behind. A collision led to Holdensæter getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Roy Forberg hit a great ball. Kjetil Arnesen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kjetil Arnesen came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Vikjorden fans jumped to their feet. The Holdensæter support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
