Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Krøderen's Joachim Horpestad started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Theodor Andresen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ole-Einar Skauen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Holdensæter's goal looked a bit too open when Joachim Horpestad came free, but Ole-Einar Skauen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Theodor Andresen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ole-Einar Skauen. Holdensæter's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Theodor Andresen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ole-Einar Skauen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johannes Clausen's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Holdensæter's goalkeeper Ole-Einar Skauen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute Theodor Andresen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ole-Einar Skauen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bård Paulsen hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Holdensæter's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Martin Hillestad was slow to take the kick. During this time Krøderen's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Krøderen's Martin Hillestad to fire away a dangerous shot which Ole-Einar Skauen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Johannes Clausen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joachim Horpestad scored 0-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ole-Einar Skauen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Roy Forberg made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Joachim Horpestad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Krøderen's supporters rose to their feet, but Joachim Horpestad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ole-Einar Skauen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joachim Horpestad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ole-Einar Skauen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Theodor Andresen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Theodor Andresen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Joachim Horpestad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Horpestad in the 71st minute of play forced Holdensæter's goalkeeper Ole-Einar Skauen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Theodor Andresen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joachim Horpestad in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ole-Einar Skauen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Johannes Clausen's late challenge caught a Holdensæter's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Johannes Clausen helped the player get up and apologised. Johannes Clausen hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. If Joachim Horpestad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ole-Einar Skauen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Theodor Andresen in the 93rd minute. After 95 played minutes Holdensæter got a freekick which was hit by Roy Forberg. After recieving a nice pass, Krøderen's Martin Hillestad tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Holdensæter's Ole-Einar Skauen got control of the ball when Theodor Andresen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Krøderen's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
